White Zinfandel is a relative newcomer to the world of wine.  California, well matched for the vine, started planting Zinfandel by the county. As white wine saw a rise in popularity, the wineries with acres of Zinfandel grape wondered if they could make a wine out of it. The result is is White Zinfandel.

White Zinfandel is delightful with cream-based-sauce with pasta, as well as with fish, pork, and other "lighter" meals. White Zin tends to have some citrusy and light flavors - orange, vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, cherry.
