(makes 4 servings)

Nutrition Facts for Very Berry SmoothieIngredients:

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup low or non-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 2 small (or 1 large) ripe bananas
  • 1 cup berries (fresh or frozen) -- strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries work well.

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend for about 10 seconds or until all ingredients are smooth.

Options:

  • Instead of yogurt, you can use soft tofu or soy milk.
  • Try using different juices: apple, grape, pineapple or tropical blend. Remember to always use 100% juice!
