Basque Style Steamed Clams (Almejas Guisadas)

Ingredients:
  • Quarts Cherrystone Clams
  • Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • Onion, About 1" In Diameter, Minced
  • Tablespoon Parsley, Minced
  • Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cups Dry White Wine
  • 1/2 Cups Water (or Additional Clam Liquid)
  • 1/4 Teaspoons Black Pepper, Freshly Ground

Directions:
