Salmon Grilled In A Japanese Style

Ingredients:
  • 2.00 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger -- Chopped
  • 4.00 Each (5-ounce) Salmon Fillets
  • 1.00 Small Lemon -- Thinly Sliced
  • 0.25 Cup Mirin
  • 0.25 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 0.25 Cup Sake Or Dry White Wine
  • 2.00 Tablespoon Sugar

Directions:

To make the marinade: In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, and ginger. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and allow the marinade to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, pour the marinade over the fish and scatter the lemon slices over the fish. Marinate refrigerated for at least 4 hours or overnight, turning the fish occasionally.
