Walnut Quick Bread

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 1/2 Cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Whole-wheat Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Medium Orange; Zest Of
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1/4 Cups Pure Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter; Melted

Directions:

In another bowl beat egg, add milk, syrup and butter and beat until smooth. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients and stir quickly to combine. Do not over mix. Pour into a buttered and floured loaf pan and bake in preheated 350 F oven for about 40 - 45 minutes or until well risen and golden and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
